frequently asked questions
When can I register?
Students may register for lessons year round. Lessons are available in 30, 45, and 60 minute durations.
All lessons meet once a week at the same scheduled time.
What will I need?
We provide instruments for initial trial lessons but recommend bringing your own instrument whenever possible. Students taking regular lessons will need to have their own instrument at home to practice on.
Students will often be expected to purchase lesson books to work out of. Book costs may vary depending on skill level and testing requirements.
how fast can i expect to progress?
Your progress is entirely up to the amount of time that you dedicate to your instrument on a regular basis. The students that progress the fastest are the students that make time to play every day.
We believe that even 10 minutes a day with your instrument will lead to noticeable improvement in a reasonable amount of time. Any time spent playing is infinitely better than none!
