Cadence Mailloux is our first student turned teacher! She is a piano teacher at Whole Tone, and this is her first year on board. She was first a student of Nicole’s, and now teaches beginner students part time while continuing her own lessons at Whole Tone. She has been playing piano for 12 years, and has completed four conservatory exams so far.

Along with playing and teaching piano within Whole Tone, Cadence is extremely involved in other music groups outside of the studio. She is a grade 11 student at Waterloo Oxford, and accompanies for many choirs within the music program. She also plays flute, and is involved in multiple jazz and concert bands as well. She was involved in her school musical as the pit band keyboardist, and loves making music with her friends and peers above all else.

Cadence loves meeting new beginning students, and strives to ensure every student enjoys their lesson, has a good relationship with practicing and making music, and is playing/performing music that they enjoy!
